Despite the covid-19 pandemic, roughly 40 percent of low-income families still lack internet or a computer at home. Gaps in technology and skills cut across healthcare, employment, education, and civic life.  With support from the Benton Institute for Broadband and Society, the Alfred Landecker Foundation, and Humanity in Action, this multimedia series follows the everyday stories of the digital divide, the millions of Americans cut off from technology today.
